Career[]
While his friends were shopping at the mall, Beau was combing the thrift, mission and Salvation Army stores near his small Florida home town to find unique pieces and get a look that was all his own. While attending college and working as a waiter he scored a job as a PA on a catalogue shooting on the Gulf beach.
He moved to New York at nineteen to start his career in the industry. After working for different fashion stylists and an assistant job at Calvin Klein he had landed a coveted job at Harper's Bazaar working with then fashion director, Tonne Goodman. He later became the associate fashion editor and continued to work on the title for five years.
Beau became sittings editor on Mademoiselle magazine and then the fashion editor on Marie Claire. he also appeared as a judge for the first cycle of Top Model.
In 2003, Atoosa Rubenstein hired Beau as the style director of Seventeen. His keen perspective on fashion and style helped revive the brand and give it a fresh voice in a, then, overcrowded teen market. In his first year on the title, his

America's Next Top Model (abbreviated ANTM and Top Model) is an American reality television series and interactive competition in which a number of aspiring models compete for the title of "America's Next Top Model" and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry.
